    Our History

On 1 April 2005 Adam Streicher and Elizca Roux joined forces to commence practising in partnership as Froneman Roux & Streicher Attorneys. Through our shared commitment to service excellence and building on diverse fields of expertise, we aim to unlock creative synergies and to provide clients with a range of high quality services and products. We are fortunate to already have secured a dynamic client base, inter alia in the property development business. We also have a thriving commercial and litigation practice. The two partners are both qualified conveyancers and notaries and at least one will be in attendance at any given time.

      Partners

      Adam Streicher :

      • Obtained the degree Baccalaureus Legum (LLB) in 1994 from the University of Pretoria
      • Admitted as attorney in 1997
      • Admitted as notary in 1997
      • Admitted as conveyancer in 1998
      • Received a certificate in the administration of deceased estates from UNISA and the Law Society of South Africa in 2001

Mr Streicher previously served as a director with another leading legal firm in Pretoria. As conveyancer he attended to various bond registrations, notarial deeds and servitudes, transfers and property contracts. Later he transferred to the litigation department of that firm, the bulk of his work comprising of commercial litigation on behalf of major South African banks.

Since joining our firm Mr Streicher has litigated on behalf of various clients, ranging from commercial- and property disputes to matrimonial matters. He regularly also advises on commercial- and other agreements and is thus well versed in general legal practise. As such he offers his clients a full range of legal services, including conveyancing, litigation,  collections,  commercial contracts, third party claims and even the administration of deceased estates.

      Elizca Roux

      • Admitted as attorney on 10 February 2000
      • Admitted as conveyancer on 10 February 2000

Mrs. Roux commenced her articles of clerkship (as it was then called) at the same leading law firm at which Adam Streicher was employed in 1998. She was assigned to the conveyancing department and became immersed in all spheres of conveyancing practice. She was also appointed as an attorney at the said firm after the completion of her clerkship and resigned almost two years later to join a smaller firm in Pretoria, as that firm’s sole conveyancer. She successfully established a conveyancing practice for this law firm and as such Mrs. Roux subsequently attended to various bond registrations and bond cancellations on behalf of the major commercial banks, all types of transfers, subdivisions, consolidations, establishment of townships, opening of sectional title registers, registration and establishment of Trusts, Companies and Close Corporations, as well as the drawing of property contracts, transfer of shares in companies and transfer of member's interest in Close Corporations. She also established a large notarial practice during this time.

During December 2004 she commenced practicing for her own account as  Froneman Roux Attorneys, before being joined by Adam Streicher on 1 April 2005.

Today Mrs. Roux is a specialist conveyancer, her expertise and experience spanning major property developments from Kwa-Zulu Natal South Coast, Johannesburg, Pretoria, Bela-Bela to Hoedspruit and beyond. She has built a reputation as an expert in the field of sectional title developments, specifically Section 25 Real Rights of Extension, and somewhat of a pioneer in respect of the latter.

She furthermore has an intimate knowledge of fractional ownership transactions.
